Urochloa Explained

Urochloa is a genus of plants in the grass family, native to Eurasia, Africa, Australia, Mexico, and the Pacific Islands.[1] [2] [3] [4] Common names include signalgrass.[5] [6] [7] [8]

Numerous species once considered members of Urochloa but are now regarded as better suited to other genera,[9] such as Alloteropsis, Brachiaria, Ixophorus, Oplismenus, Panicum, and Rupichloa.
