Saccharolysin (proteinase yscD, yeast cysteine proteinase D, Saccharomyces cerevisiae proteinase yscD) is an enzyme.[1] [2] This enzyme catalyses the following chemical reaction

Cleavage of Pro-Phe and Ala-Ala bonds

This cytoplasmic metalloendopeptidase is present in Saccharomyces cerevisiae.
