Ribonuclease V (endoribonuclease V) is an enzyme.[1] This enzyme catalyses the following chemical reaction

Hydrolysis of poly(A), forming oligoribonucleotides and ultimately 3'-AMP

This enzyme also hydrolyses poly(U).
