Pro-Republic of China or simply pro-ROC is a political alignment that supports the Republic of China (ROC) in terms of politics, economy, society, and culture.
Since the People's Republic of China (PRC) has dominated mainland China since 1949, there is admiration for traditional Chinese culture, but those who oppose the PRC are not referred to as "pro-China" (親中). Also, "pro-Republic of China" should not be confused with "pro-Taiwanese sentiment".
