Paraventricular thalamus explained
Paraventricular thalamus should not be confused with paraventricular nucleus of hypothalamus.
The paraventricular thalamus (PVT or PV) is a nucleusin the midline nuclear group of the thalamus.[1] [2]
The PVT is a critical node of the hypothalamic-thalamic-striatal circuit.[3]
