Molybdopterin adenylyltransferase explained

Molybdopterin adenylyltransferase
Ec Number:2.7.7.75

Molybdopterin adenylyltransferase (MogA, Cnx1) is an enzyme with systematic name ATP:molybdopterin adenylyltransferase.[1] [2] [3] This enzyme catalyses the following chemical reaction

\rightleftharpoons

diphosphate + adenylyl-molybdopterin

This enzyme catalyses the activation of molybdopterin for molybdenum insertion.
