Mayor of South Waikato explained
The Mayor of South Waikato officiates over the South Waikato District of New Zealand's North Island.[1]
Gary Petley is the current mayor of South Waikato being elected in the 2022 https://www.electionz.com/LGE2022Results/ELT19SK22_results.pdf Jenny Shattock was elected in 2016, becoming the district's first female mayor.[2]
