This enzyme belongs to the family of transferases, specifically those transferring phosphorus-containing nucleotide groups (nucleotidyltransferases). The systematic name of this enzyme class is 2'-(5"-triphosphoribosyl)-3'-dephospho-CoA:apo-citrate lyase adenylyltransferase.
