Gmina Bliżyn is a rural gmina (administrative district) in Skarżysko County, Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship, in south-central Poland. Its seat is the village of Bliżyn, which lies approximately 12km (07miles) west of Skarżysko-Kamienna and 270NaN0 north of the regional capital Kielce.

The gmina covers an area of 141.08km2, and as of 2006 its total population is 8,617.

The gmina contains part of the protected area called Suchedniów-Oblęgorek Landscape Park.
