Zverinogolovsky District (Russian: Звериноголовский райо́н) is an administrative[1] and municipal[2] district (raion), one of the twenty-four in Kurgan Oblast, Russia. It is located in the south of the oblast. The area of the district is 1400km2. Its administrative center is the rural locality (a selo) of Zverinogolovskoye. Population: 11,755 (2002 Census). The population of Zverinogolovskoye accounts for 42.7% of the district's total population.
