Zonitoides elliotti, common name green dome, is a species of small air-breathing land snail, a terrestrial pulmonate gastropod mollusk in the family Gastrodontidae.[1]
The altitude of the shell ranges between 4 mm and 4.9 mm (0.16-0.19 in), its diameter varies from 7.5 mm to 9 mm (0.30-0.35 in).
This species occurs in North America, specifically, it is native to the eastern United States (southern Appalachian Mountains, from West Virginia to northern Georgia and Alabama), found in leaf litter and among spongy logs.
