Zonites rhodius explained

Zonites rhodius is a species of air-breathing land snail, a terrestrial pulmonate gastropod mollusk in the family Zonitidae.^[1]

• Zonites rhodius martensi Pfeffer, 1930
• Zonites rhodius rhodius E. von Martens, 1889
• Zonites rhodius symius Pfeffer, 1930

Description

The altitude of the shell varies between 12 mm and 20 mm; its diameter between 25 mm and 40 mm.

Distribution

This species was found on the island Rhodos, Greece
