Zion Tse is a Professor in Robotics, and the Director of Centre for Bioengineering at the School of Engineering and Materials Science, Queen Mary, University of London.[1]

Early Life & Education

Tse received his Ph.D degree in Mechatronics in Medicine from Imperial College London in the UK.[2] [3] He then received training and worked at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, Maryland, Harvard University in Boston, USA, and the University of York, UK.[4]

Currently, Tse is a Professor in Robotics, and the Director of Centre for Bioengineering at the School of Engineering and Materials Science, Queen Mary, University of London.

Research & Career

Most of Tse's academic and professional experience has been in Digital Health, Surgical Robotics, and AI Medical Imaging. He has developed and tested a broad range of medical technologies in his career, most of which have been applied in clinical patient trials.[5] His research bridges Engineering and Medicine, connecting multidisciplinary teams of medical doctors, researchers and engineers. Tse has published internationally circulated journal papers, articles at international conferences, and robotic and mechatronic patents.[6]
