Zhao Jianbo (born 27 August 2003)[1] is a Chinese former professional snooker player who is currently banned from professional competition after engaging in match-fixing.
The WPBSA suspended Zhao from World Snooker Tour events in January 2023, amid a match-fixing investigation,[2] and subsequently charged him with fixing a match.[3] Following an independent disciplinary tribunal, Zhao was banned from professional competition for 2 years and 4 months, until 7 April 2025, and ordered to pay £7500 in costs.[4]
As a result of Zhao's performances on the CBSA Tour, he was awarded a two-year card on the World Snooker Tour for the 2020–21 and 2021–22.[5]
