Zgornja Besnica (in Slovenian pronounced as /ˈzɡoːɾnja ˈbeːsnitsa/) is a settlement in central Slovenia. It lies in the hills east of the capital Ljubljana and belongs to the City Municipality of Ljubljana. It is part of the traditional Lower Carniola region.
