Zandile Nxumalo (born 6 January 2003[1]) professionally known as Zee Nxumalo is a Swati-born South African singer and songwriter. Born Eswatini and raised in Alexandra, Johannesburg [2] her single "Funk 99", released in 2023 calputed her to mainstream success and certified 5× Platinum in South Africa.
Zandile Nxumalo born on 6 January 2003 in Eswatini.[3] Her family relocated to Alexandra, Johannesburg where she spent her childhood.[3]
Her debut extended play KwaNxumalo, was released on 28 June 2022.[3] [4]
"Funk 55" by Shakes & Les, DBN Gogo and Zee Nxumalo featuring Ceeka Rsa, Chley was released on 1 December 2023. It debuted No. 2 on Local Streaming Chart Top 10.[5]
Her single "Thula Mabota" with Pabi Cooper, 031choppa featuring Shakes & Les was released on 29 March 2024. It was certified platinum in South Africa.[6]
She also appeared on "Ama Gear (Edit)" with Dlala Thukzin, Funky Qla, featuring MK Productions released on 5 July 2024. The song debuted number 5 on Local Streaming Top 10.
