Zawada (German Zowade, 1936-45: Lichten in Oberschlesien), is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Głogówek, within Prudnik County, Opole Voivodeship, in south-western Poland, close to the Czech border.[1] It lies approximately 8km (05miles) north-west of Głogówek, 200NaN0 north-east of Prudnik, and 310NaN0 south of the regional capital Opole. Historically located in Upper Silesia, in the Prudnik Land.
