Zavyalovsky District (Russian: Завья́ловский райо́н) is an administrative[1] and municipal[2] district (raion), one of the fifty-nine in Altai Krai, Russia. It is located in the northwestern central part of the krai. The area of the district is 2224km2.[3] Its administrative center is the rural locality (a selo) of Zavyalovo. Population: The population of Zavyalovo accounts for 35.9% of the district's total population.

Geography

The district lies in the transition zone between the Ob Plateau and the Kulunda Plain. Part of Mostovoye lake is located in the district.[4] [5]
