Zambrone (Calabrian: Sicilian: Zambrònë) is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Vibo Valentia in the Italian region Calabria, located about 60km (40miles) southwest of Catanzaro and about 9km (06miles) northwest of Vibo Valentia. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 1,803 and an area of 14.4km2.[1]
Zambrone borders the following municipalities: Briatico, Parghelia, Zaccanopoli.
The town was home to southern Italy's first water park, Aquapark di Zambrone, prior to its closure in 2007.
