Zakharovsky District (Russian: Заха́ровский райо́н) is an administrative[1] and municipal[2] district (raion), one of the twenty-five in Ryazan Oblast, Russia. It is located in the west of the oblast. The area of the district is 985.9km2.[3] Its administrative center is the rural locality (a selo) of Zakharovo. Population: 9,136 (2010 Census); The population of Zakharovo accounts for 30.0% of the district's total population.
