Zachariah Nicholovos is Metropolitan of Northeast American Diocese of Malankara Orthodox Syrian Church. He was excommunicated from the Syriac Orthodox Church by Patriarch Ignatius Zakka I in December 2001, which prompted him to join the Malankara Orthodox Syrian Church.^{[1] [2]}
