Zabór Wielki (pronounced as /pl/) is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Miękinia, within Środa Śląska County, Lower Silesian Voivodeship, in south-western Poland.[1]
It lies approximately 7km (04miles) north-west of Miękinia, 13km (08miles) north-east of Środa Śląska, and 24km (15miles) north-west of the regional capital Wrocław.
The name of the village is of Polish origin and comes from the words za and bór, meaning "behind a coniferous forest".[2] [3]
In 1842, the village had a population of 244.[4]
