Załęcze Wielkie is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Pątnów, within Wieluń County, Łódź Voivodeship, in central Poland. It lies approximately 9km (06miles) south-east of Pątnów, 180NaN0 south-east of Wieluń, and 950NaN0 south-west of the regional capital Łódź.[1]
Jurassic (Oxfordian)[2] outcrops in abandoned quarries located near the village yielded fossils of a thalattosuchian crocodylomorph belonging to the superfamily Teleosauroidea.[3]
