Yury Bezsonov Explained

Georgy Dmitrievich Bezsonov, variant: Yury Dmitrievich Bezsonov (Russian: Безсонов, Георгий/Юрий Дмитриевич)) was a Russian Imperial Army cavalry officer, known for his memoir about the Soviet Solovki prison camp and his escape from there.[1]

He escaped from Solovki together with four other inmates: Матвей Сазонов, Ingush Sozerko Malsagov, Pole Эдвард Мальбродский, Василий Приблудин. Malsagov also wrote a similar memoir.
