Yemanzhelinsky District (Russian: Еманжелинский район) is an administrative and municipal district (raion), one of the twenty-seven in Chelyabinsk Oblast, Russia.[1] It is located in the center of the oblast. The area of the district is 129km2. Its administrative center is the town of Yemanzhelinsk. Population (excluding the administrative center):

It is located near the border with Kazakhstan on the eastern slopes of the Southern Ural Mountains, 50km south of Chelyabinsk, the administrative center of the oblast.[2]
