The Yelan (Russian: Елань) is a river in Voronezh Oblast of Russia. It is a right tributary of the Savala (in the drainage basin of the Don).[1] The Yelan is 165km (103miles) long, with a drainage basin of 3630km2.[2] It flows over the southern part of the Oka–Don Plain. Most of the rivers waters are from melting snow. Its average discharge 26km (16miles) from its mouth is 6.8m3/s.[1]
