Yedey (Russian: Едей; Yakut: Үөдэй|translit=Üödey) is a rural locality (a selo), the only inhabited locality, and the administrative center of Yedeysky Rural Okrug of Nyurbinsky District in the Sakha Republic, Russia, located 77km (48miles) from Nyurba, the administrative center of the district.[2] Its population as of the 2010 Census was 190,[3] down from 192 recorded during the 2002 Census.
