The Yangwang U7 is a battery electric full-size luxury sedan manufactured by BYD Auto under the Yangwang brand.
On April 25, 2024, U7 to be released at the Auto China 2024.[1] In November 2024, Yangwang U7 will officially start pre-sales at Auto Guangzhou 2024.[2]
The U7 is equipped with proprietary "e4" (易四方) individual wheel drive (IWD) technology developed by BYD and is equipped with four electric motors, each with a maximum power of 326 horsepower and a total power of 1,306 horsepower. The top speed reaches 270km/h. U7 also comes with the God's Eye advanced intelligent driving assistance system, boasting 3 LiDAR units, 5 millimeter-wave radars, 13 cameras, and a 508TOPS computing platform.[3]
It is also equipped with Disus-Z active suspension technology. This system has a response speed of only 10ms and is also equipped with an energy recovery device that can charge the battery through the suspension motor.[4]
The U7 PHEV is equipped with a high-performance engine and has a comprehensive cruising range of over 1,000 kilometers.
The U7 EV is equipped with BYD's blade battery with a battery capacity of 135.5kWh, and its CLTC pure electric range is 720km.
