Yamasinghe Bandara Explained

Yamasinghe Bandara (baptised as Dom Filipe) was the nephew of Karalliyadde Bandara.^[1] He helped the Portuguese take control of Kandy and was installed as ruler in 1592. However Bandara died the following year.^[2]
