Yamashurma (Tatar: Ямаширмә; Russian: Ямашурма) is a rural locality (a selo) in Vysokogorsky District, Tatarstan, Russia. The population was 1,126 as of 2010.[1]
is located east of Vysokaya Gora, the district's administrative centre, and northeast of Kazan, the republic's capital, by road.[2] [3]
The earliest known record of the settlement dates from the 16th century. It forms part of the district since 1965.
