Wybrzeże Gdańsk SA (appears under the name Wybrzeże Gdańsk) is a polish speedway club from Gdańsk.
The club was established in 2006, continues tradition of GKS Wybrzeże Gdańsk, that existed from 1962 to 2005.
To 2008 in league matches appeared association GKŻ Wybrzeże Gdańsk, and from 2009 season, after promotion to Ekstraliga club must have be a public corporation, so in league performed Wybrzeże Gdańsk Inc, that was established on 3 November 2008.
After 2014 season, Wybrzeże Gdańsk Inc lose a licence for riding in Team Speedway Polish Championship. Before start of the 2015 season, independent from corporation - association GKŻ Wybrzeże Gdańsk - took action to take part in league, with effect - they have got a licence and start 2015 season from 2nd polish league.On 28 November 2023, club has informed of estalishing Wybrzeże Gdańsk Inc, cause it was neccesary to instigate to license process before 2024 season,[1] because of takeover 1st league by Ekstraliga Inc and change it into proffesional league.[2]
In 2024 season team took last position in 1st league, consequently fell into Polish National Speedway Legue.[3]
In 2005 organisation problems, caused by indebtedness from past years, drove to took over last section of GKS Wybrzeże Gdańsk by new club, that continued the tradition, and before 2006 season - completely exclusion activity of GKS and establish in Gdańsk new club, which started from last league. In 2008 season, after win with Rzeszów in play-off's, got promoted to ekstraliga. At 3rd November 2008, after established public corporation, club get back to name "GKS Wybrzeże Gdańsk".
After 2009 season, club fell to 1st legue. In 2010 lost play-off match with Włókniarz Częstochowa. In 2011 got promoted to ekstraliga, with big extent by Darcy Ward, hired from Unibax Toruń.
In 2014 club was downgrade from ekstraliga, because of financial troubles and spent 2015 season in 2nd legue.
From 2016 to 2024 club was performing in 1st legue. In 2017 lost play-off matches with KS Toruń, 43:47 in Toruń, and 40:50 in Gdańsk.In 2025 club will perform in Polish National Speedway League.[4]
