The 24th Assembly district of Wisconsin is one of 99 districts in the Wisconsin State Assembly.[1] Located in southeastern Wisconsin, the district comprises parts of southeast Washington County and northeast Waukesha County. It includes the villages of Menomonee Falls and Lannon, and the southern half of the village of Germantown.[2] The district is represented by Republican Paul Melotik, since August 2023.[3] After the 2024 redistricting, Melotik no longer resides within the new district.
Wisconsin Senator Dan Knodl announced he would run in the 2024 election for the Assembly Seat. Knodl previously held the seat from 2009 to 2023, when he was elected to the Wisconsin Senate. After 2024 redistricting, Knodl is no longer within the boundaries of the 8th Senate district he represents.[4]
The 24th Assembly district is located within Wisconsin's 8th Senate district, along with the 22nd and 23rd Assembly districts.[5]
