Wierzbno is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Otmuchów, within Nysa County, Opole Voivodeship, in south-western Poland, close to the Czech border.[1] It lies approximately 5km (03miles) south-east of Otmuchów, 110NaN0 south-west of Nysa, and 590NaN0 south-west of the regional capital Opole.
The name of the village is of Polish origin and comes from the word wierzba, which means "willow".[2]
