Wiśnicze is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Wielowieś, within Gliwice County, Silesian Voivodeship, in southern Poland.[1] It lies approximately 6km (04miles) south-west of Wielowieś, 240NaN0 north of Gliwice, and 420NaN0 north-west of the regional capital Katowice.

The name of the village is of Polish origin and comes from the word wiśnia, which means "cherry".[2]
