Welland is a suburb and ward[3] [4] of the town of Market Harborough in Leicestershire, England. It is located in the west and southwest of the town.
The ward covers both the western and southwestern parts of the town. It takes its name from the nearby River Welland[5] which runs through the middle of the ward. It is located between the town and the nearby village of Lubenham. It is mostly a mix of residential estates with open spaces[6] and the former Rugby and Stamford Railway passes through the middle of it.[7]
