We Were Anzacs is a 1960 Australian television documentary. It was an episode of Shell Presents. The other instalments of that series had been dramas.[1]

The documentary told the story of Australian male and female servicemen in World War Two. It incorporated documentary footage with interviews, including Vivian Bullwinkel.[2] Events covered include the Second Battle of El Alamein, the Siege of Tobruk, the Kokoda Track Campaign, the Battle of Milne Bay, the Battle of Sunda Strait and the Dambusters Raid.[3]
