Wayne Levell Cage (born November 23, 1951) is an American former professional baseball player. In 1971, he was drafted by the Cleveland Indians. Although Cage was under contract with the team until 1981, he only played in the major leagues in and, when he had batting averages of .245 and .232. He was traded to the Seattle Mariners in for Rod Craig, although he would not play in the major leagues with Seattle. Instead, a week after the trade, Cage's contract was sold to the Hankyu Braves of the Pacific League. He played for the Braves for two seasons, and .
