Warner Fite Explained
Warner Fite (5 March 1867 – 23 June 1955) was an American philosopher.
Biography
Warner Fite was born in Philadelphia. He graduated with a BA from Haverford College in 1889 and received his PhD in philosophy from the University of Pennsylvania in 1894.[1] Besides teaching at the University of Chicago (1897–1901), Fite also worked at the University of Texas (1903–1906), Indiana University (1906–1908) and Harvard University (1911–1912). He held the chair of Stuart Professor of Ethics at Princeton University from 1917 until his retirement in 1935.
Warner Fite died in 1955.[2]
