Wanaty is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Łaskarzew, within Garwolin County, Masovian Voivodeship, in east-central Poland.[1] It lies approximately 7km (04miles) west of Łaskarzew, 150NaN0 south-west of Garwolin, and 580NaN0 south-east of Warsaw.
During World War II units of Schutzpolizei and Sonderdienst, led by Kreishauptmann Karl Freudenthal "pacified" the village and brutally murdered 108 inhabitants.
