The Walawe (Sinhala; Sinhalese: වලවේ ගඟ, Tamil: வளவை ஆறு) is a 138km (86miles)[1] long river in Sri Lanka which originates on Adam's Peak. It discharges into the Indian Ocean at the coastal town of Ambalantota.
