Waihāhā Explained

Waihāhā is a village and rural community in the Taupō District and Waikato region of New Zealand's North Island.[1]

The New Zealand Ministry for Culture and Heritage gives a translation of "noisy water" for Maori: Waihāhā.[2]

Waihāhā is part of the Lake Taupo Bays statistical area.
