Vojislav V. Jovanović (28 June 1940 – 5 March 2018) was a Serbian novelist and writer of short stories, prose and poems.

Biography

Vojislav V. Jovanović was born in Niška Banja, Niš, Serbia (Kingdom of Yugoslavia at the time).[1] He has published 28 books of novels, prose and poetry.[2] His works are included in various anthologies[3] [4] [5] [6] of Serbian literature and have been translated to English, French,[7] Dutch,[8] Romanian and Catalan[9] language. Vojislav V. Jovanović also published numerous articles in various literary journals and magazines such as Književne novine,[10] [11] [12] [13] [14] [15] [16] [17] Književna reč,[18] Književni list,[19] Književni magazin,[20] [21] Reč,[22] [23] [24] Politika,[25] Priča,[26] Beogradski književni časopis,[27] [28] Gradina,[29] Gradac (translation),[30] Poezija,[31] [32] Letopis Matice srpske,[33] [34] Raška,[35] Slava[36] and others.

Vojislav V. Jovanović was a member of the editorial board of Književne novine from 1984 to 2000. He never received any award for his works. He died in Belgrade on 5 March 2018.
