Vernon Township is one of eleven townships in Jennings County, Indiana, United States. As of the 2020 census, its population was 2,858 (up from 2,809 at 2010[1]) and it contained 1,193 housing units.[2]

Geography

According to the 2010 census, the township has a total area of, of which (or 99.71%) is land and (or 0.29%) is water.[1] The streams of Crooked Creek, Duck Branch, Goose Run and Huckleberry Branch run through this township.
