Verne Hobson Booth (October 27, 1898  - September 27, 1979) was an American long-distance runner.[1] He competed in the men's 10,000 metres at the 1924 Summer Olympics.[2]

Competing for the Johns Hopkins Blue Jays track and field team, Booth won the 1923 NCAA Track and Field Championships in the two miles. He also ran for the University of Delaware.
