Verdikoussa (Greek, Modern (1453-);: Βερδικούσσα,^[1] in Greek, Modern (1453-); pronounced as /veɾði'kusa/) is a village, a community and a municipal unit of the Elassona municipality.^[2] Before the 2011 local government it was an independent community.^{[1] [2]} The community of Verdikoussa covers an area of 101.267 km².^[3]

Economy

The population of Verdikoussa is occupied in animal husbandry, agriculture (tobacco and organic vegetables) and lumbering.^[4]
