Venefica multiporosa is a species of eel in the family Nettastomatidae (duckbill/witch eels). It was described by Christine Karrer in 1983.[1] It is a marine, deep water-dwelling eel which is known from the Indo-western Pacific, including Madagascar, Australia and the Philippines. It dwells at a depth range of 416mto1300mm (1,365feetto4,300feetm). Males can reach a maximum total length of 70cm (30inches).
