Vempalle (వేంపల్లె) is a town located in Andhra Pradesh, India. It serves as the headquarters of the Vempalle Mandal in the YSR Kadapa district. It is a part of Pulivendula assembly constituency and located at a distance of 30 KMs from Pulivendula town. Vempalle is 45 KMs away from the district headquarter Kadapa. Spanning an area of about 10 square kilometers, Vempalle is scenically situated along the banks of the Papagni River. Notably, it is in close proximity to the YSR Ghat, the resting place of the beloved late Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Dr. Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy. Additionally, Vempalle is near the renowned Gandi Kshetram, further enhancing its cultural and historical significance.
