Varkos (Greek, Modern (1453-);: Βάρκος, in Greek, Modern (1453-); pronounced as /'vaɾkos/) is a village of the Elassona municipality. Before the 2011 local government reform it was a part of the municipality of Verdikoussa.[1] The 2021 census recorded 42 inhabitants in the village. Varkos is a part of the community of Verdikoussa.
