Varanasi Lok Sabha constituency (colloquially Varanasi) is one of the 80 Lok Sabha (parliamentary) constituencies in the Uttar Pradesh state in north India. Narendra Modi has been thrice elected from this constituency to become the prime minister of India. His party, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), is the most successful in Varanasi, having won a total of 8 terms since the constituency was established in 1952.
