Valeriy Yuldashevich Tursunov (Russian: Валерий Турсунов; born 3 August 1954) is a Tajikistani former football manager and footballer.
Tursunov is a native of Dushanbe, Tajikistan.[1]
Tursunov played for Tajikistani side CSKA-Pamir, where he was regarded as one of the club's most important players.[2]
Tursunov mainly operated as a striker and was described as "nimble, mobile and technical".[3]
Tursunov was nicknamed the "Tajikistani Pelé" after Brazil international Pelé.[4]
